Trey Merrill
I’m Trey Merrill, a Real Estate Sales Associate with HomeBiz Properties. I grew up along the shores of Freeport when it was a much smaller town than it is today.
After spending years away serving in the United States Air Force with a career in aviation, I was fortunate enough to return to the Florida Panhandle and settle near family. Through it all, I never forgot what made the area special. Coming home has only deepened my appreciation for this community and everything it has to offer. Whether it’s the small-town feel of Freeport, the beautiful beaches along 30A, the growing opportunities in Niceville, or the waterfront lifestyle around Destin and Panama City Beach, I genuinely enjoy helping people find their place here.
My background isn’t the typical path into real estate. As a retired Air Force aviator, I spent my career making critical decisions, paying attention to the details, and putting people first. Those experiences taught me the importance of integrity, preparation, and commitment—qualities I believe are just as important in real estate as they are in the military.
I am also working in the real estate appraising industry, which gives me additional insight into property values, market trends, and the factors that influence real estate decisions.
At the end of the day, real estate is about people. My goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible while providing honest advice, responsive communication, and the kind of service I’d want for my own family.
